Archery is the traditional sport of the natives mainly enjoyed in groups after the harvest season. Sikkimese culture cannot be described completely unless you talk about folk dances and folk songs. Lu Khangthamo, Gha To Kito, Chi Rimu, Gnungmala Gnunghey, Rechungma, Be Yu Mista, Tashi Zaldha are the famous folk dances of Gangtok. Enchey Chaam, Kagyed Dance, Rumtek Chaam and Gouthor(Winter) Chaam are some of the noteworthy mask dances of Gangtok.
